January 29, 2006 Sail
Waking up to grey skies and a wet deck I really thought Sunday would be a day of coffee and reading down below on Carina. The forecast was for 10 - 20 kts of wind and clearing as the day progressed with the temperature hitting the low 60's. Unbelievable for January.
For once the weather guys were correct. We hoisted sail and off we went on a 4 hour jaunt around the lake. It was absolutely wonderful. With the main, staysail and Yankee we made great speed and John was able to play with the new mainsail.

We closed out the late afternoon sitting in the cockpit with friends and beers as the sun went down. It doesn't get much better.
